Congrats, that is so exciting, hen raised chicks are the most fun to watch. i love how mom clucks to them and how they sleep nestled in her feathers. Best of luck!

I have a pure Ameraucana broody that is on Day 9 today. (my first broody) She's sitting on 9 eggs. I was planning on candling the eggs, but she's turned velociraptor on me, so I'm leaving her and her eggs alone. She pecked me last night as I was trying to scoop up the broody poo.

Most of these babies will be olive eggers.
