My Cockerel Crowed Today!!!!

Horray!!!!

I have been waiting so long to hear my boy crow, and today I finally heard it!!! I have always wanted to hear a rooster crow and now I can finally hear it in my own backyard. He must have already been crowing for at least a week or two because this doesn't sound at all like a first crow. I know that crowing is normal behaviour for cockerels and roosters but I am so proud of him regardless Here is a video of him crowing!

So cute!! How old is he?? My black Australorp, Ronnie, is approx 11-12 weeks old and hasn’t crowed yet. He does demonstrate other rooster traits through like rounding them up in evening for bed and gets in between 2 pullets squabbling. I am so looking forward to hearing Ronnie roo lol
