That title sounded dirty LOL
I ended up with a mixed box of chicks from tractor supply ( imagine that) thought I was getting RIR pullets. Got a whole bunch of golden comets, cockerels and only two RIR hens. I gave away all cockerels except big red. He is now 16 weeks old. He doesn’t look like RIR pictures I see, his body is huge and he walks slow and sits a lot. He can’t fly to the top roost ( I watch on camera) and ends up sleeping on bottom ladder roost. I was thinking I got a meat bird and maybe he is red ranger. What do ya’ll think? He is healthy and eating. No hormone display yet.

He looks a lot like my Red Ranger Cockerels that my neighbors ate.. I gave them away to my neighbors So I didn't have to kill them. (yours is too red to be a Red Ranger BTW, so I am not saying it is one. Its just big like one)

Thanks! How will breeding work with my golden comets? They seems so much smaller than the Roo!
I hope to be able to hatch some chicks in the future.
No sign of aggression towards me yet, seems weary of me when I enter his area. I successfully integrated 2 Plymouth Rocks but he still runs them out coup at roost time until the other pullets are roosted. I have a second roost bar and the new PR use it on opposite side of coup.
