Looks so nice and neat! How do you clean a run only once or twice over a few years? What is your secret!

Thanks. To answer your question, the run is on a slight slope and is very sandy soil. I added sand when I built it and again this year. There just isnt a need to clean it very often. The sand keeps it well drained. There are no trees directly above it, so no debris falls into the pen. I have a relatively small flock, they aren't very messy. I raked it out this spring, and that was the only time I've had to rake it out... there were some twigs, some shedded feathers, and hickory nuts. It just stays relatively clean.
