I thought I would post a few pictures of my coop and run. All the wood came from logs sawed on my sawmill, pine for the 2x4s and walls, oak for roof and floor boards. The run posts are oak 5x5s, fence boards are oak also. The run cover and roof covering are conveyor belt cut offs 6ft. wide. Has a rollout nesting box (not sure they like it not laying yet), auto door that is made up of a actuator, timer, relay, battery and solar panel. The only things I needed to purchase was screws, 1/2" hardware cloth and the auto door parts. The one thing I do not like is the Run is only 5 1/2 foot tall and im 6 feet tall. I put the front window in the coop before figuring the height of the run . The coop and run has worked well so far, I do plan on running pvc for waters in the future. Thought I would show what I did to maybe help others building coops.

As someone with back issues first thing I'd want to do is bump up the roof another foot... or find a shorter person who looooves doing clean up and maintenance. My husband has the same problem in our run, which is netted over at about 6', but I (shorter person) do all the work on it so he doesn't care that he can't fit into every corner.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to extend the roofline up another 2', incorporating a 2'x2' frame for plexiglass skylight for lower window to still catch sunshine. Then pitch it down to the far end raised another 6"
Depending how far you extend the roofline up and how much you raise the far end up you would at minimum give it a better pitch for run off and clear your head height issue.
You'll be glad you did, cleaning that run out is gonna give you a headache.
Nice looking coop, and very jealous of the sawmill.

Edited to add.... Underside of framing for plexiglass i would add 1/2" HC and 2" x 4" cattle panel to stop anything from coming into the run.

I like your exterior roll away nest boxes. I’m about to build something very similar.
Now that you’ve used them for awhile, would you change anything about the design?
I’m trying to build them as simply as possible with minimum pieces and parts.
