Crowing
I thought I would post a few pictures of my coop and run. All the wood came from logs sawed on my sawmill, pine for the 2x4s and walls, oak for roof and floor boards. The run posts are oak 5x5s, fence boards are oak also. The run cover and roof covering are conveyor belt cut offs 6ft. wide. Has a rollout nesting box (not sure they like it not laying yet), auto door that is made up of a actuator, timer, relay, battery and solar panel. The only things I needed to purchase was screws, 1/2" hardware cloth and the auto door parts. The one thing I do not like is the Run is only 5 1/2 foot tall and im 6 feet tall. I put the front window in the coop before figuring the height of the run . The coop and run has worked well so far, I do plan on running pvc for waters in the future. Thought I would show what I did to maybe help others building coops.
