It isnt much to brag about as far as looks but the building was free

. It is extremely sturdy though, it is an old building but has lasted well. I have made windows in the north, east and west side, considering putting one in one of the doors. The building is 5x6 as is the run. There isnt much you can do with that kind of steel building without a lot of extra work. I am extending the run soon. But it works ok for now. I will be putting some pics of my wifes new run and coop. Not fair if you ask me lol.

. I am going to redo the run, and I am going to paint the building, since the paint is so faded. Probably just stay with the blue and white, but I am gonna put some cool-seal on the roof, to help deflect the suns heat and keep it cooler in the summer.

Thanks

. I am gonna repaint it, and I am considering making some new nest boxes that are a little more picturesque, lol...I am also looking to pick up a small weather vane to put on top of it, lol...

Thanks, I think I am gonna keep the nest boxes...I remember when I finished them how proud of them I was, lol...I just got the feeder and waterer hung this evening, and got a better latch on the back which I feel is as coon proof as it is possible to make it (without putting an actual lock on it)

Dude your coop is awesome! We as guys can look past what it looks like now and "see" what it is going to become. Think of an old 57' chevy rusted, missing glass and no interior out in a field. now think of that same chevy, same condition in your drive....every motorhead would be jealous.

You were genius for recycling the building, your nest boxes are way functional and your geometric design on the run door is cool. A bunch of measurements and wearing out your miter saw. I'm not going to show my DW your post or she would have me trying to build a door like that...

Thank you sir, after watching my dad put things together, I always feel about third rate, lol. Miter saw? I had a table saw and a 1 foot ruler and tape measure, lol....it took me an hour or so to get that door right.
