Hi. glad you liked the hen. She is supposed to be aracauna?(sp). She has tufts by her ears. I thought she may lay colored eggs, but hasn't. I live in Gorham, right next to Windham, almost. Merry

I have 4 almost 5 week old auracana's and I hope they turn out as beautiful as yours. She's beautiful! Mine are just a little darker.

She is a quiet, gentle hen.Yes, she has a hawklike face. I can pick her up and she snuggles into my clothes. Her ?sister is alot lighter in color and was rightfully named Bashful as she isn't anywhere near friendly as Babyface. Merry
