My coop build

Well I started on this last week and have got alot done. I kind of looked at other peoples coop designs and came up with my own. It is 8' long 4' wide (not including the nest boxes). The roof is not on yet, but overall height will be about 7' at the peak. The roof is going to be a steep angle to match our house. When I first drew up the plans and priced it out it would have cost about $200 in materials. Although by the end we will have about $500 in it since my wife wants this to look very nice and not look out of place in the yard. We also decided to put it on wheels and I am going to attach a hitch to it, so it can be pulled with our lawn tractor. It will have 4 real windows with screens and other house like amenities like real door knobs, etc. The siding will be stained and sealed and trim will be white. Here are some pics from last week. It is a little further along now than these pics. I will take some updated photos tomorrow and keep the progress updated. Hope you like it

Looks like yu are a very good carpenter,I really like to see good jobs and I wish you best luck with your project.

Great design, you should post your plans to the site as i think many many people would love to build one that is similar. keep the pictures coming.
