WOW thats a beautiful coop.
I am wanting a second one built soon and hope you dont mind but I think we will be using your idea

I need a 2nd coop (smaller) for when birds come home from shows, oh and I need one for yonger birds...looks like we migh have to build 2 more.

if not you should.
When we built ours it was a blast, and winning a gift cert. was just great, but kind of funny, we got rewarded for having a great time!! Love teaching the kids those kind of lessons!

I did enter, If I win that's cool, if not it's cool too. I built the coop to make the chickens and more importantly my WIFE happy

I totally understand......making the wife happy is the main reason we have such a nice coop, LOL I wanted the girls to have the best (I think the heater in ours is a little much but DH didnt want them to get cold!!!!)

I put wheels on almost everything now, makes my life easier. Especially when the wife looks at something and says, "I think that would be better over here, and then a couple months later, says "no I like it better over there".

But, for this I like the idea of moving it every few days for the grass.
