My coop smells!

I have 8 chickens in my coop and they have been smelling up my coop. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to control the smell?

How big (feet by feet) is the coop? Is there an attached run... if so how large is it? How many hours a day are the birds confined to just the coop? Is out the coop or coop and run that smells? What are you currently using for bedding? Whay are you feeding? What is your current management routine? Whay type of smell is it...sour, ammonia, etc?

The coop+ run is 14 ft by 14 ft. Two of the chickens are chicks. They free range a couple hours a day. It smeels like poop and i use pine shavings

I have a poop board with sweet pdz under the roosts, this catches most of the poop which I can easily scoop out like a litter box and the pdz absorbs smells. My run I use deep litter method and hardly smells.

Poop boards with PDZ, sifted daily, and dry shavings on floor in coop.
Is coop weather tight, no leaks?
Do you have good ventilation in coop?

Deep Litter Method is the way to go + Fermented Feeding + Poop Board under their night roost with PDZ + ventilation = no smelly coop

I like this idea for our run. It's 25x30 and I'm thinking of starting a base with about 4" of a fine mulch mixed with yard materials - leaves, grass. Is this a good start?
