Well, I've got the ties, but them suckers are HEAVY!! So I haven't put them in place yet. They're still in the back of the truck and it looks like they will be until one of our friends comes over to help us move them. So I'm still waiting to continue. I'm so antsy to get going!!

And the exterior nest boxes are (for the time being) nixed. Mr is OMG CERTAIN that unless we do it this way and that way and omg buy tons of wood to restructure, that they'll rot off the side of the coop. I'm like, dude, it's a chicken house. It's not going to be supporting tons of weight, we don't have to tie it into the roof *and* lengthen the roof beams (and even if we did, it's not going to be that heavy) *and* the structure *and* have feet. Srsly.

But, I'm not up for the debate, so the nest boxes are inside...for now.
