DH was concerned that the 1/2" mesh would be too big and snakes could get in and I said the exact same thing....that if a snake is small enough to fit through there the chickens would eat it.

Cool coop!! Love the over hangs! I have the same flooring....behind the roost to protect the wall from, well, blow-outs during the night!
