I feed them the two cups every 3-4 days when they sprout, I have 30 birds. They go crazy like with meal worms , but this is so very cheap, cheap , cheap

Sure , I researched the cheapest protein source for chickens .Green lentils have the skin on them , you soak them in warm water over night, drain them . Rinse them every day and drain.
After 3-4 days they will sprout and a green leaf will come , that’s when they are ready to feed . Mung beans also work but cost more

Just got this sprouter for $20 used, cant wait to sprout all kinds of things now , for me and the hens you just add seeds pour water in too tray and it drips down to all trays , ingenious
