Panda Pie Puddlecluck, Dandelion Roo Puddlecluck, and Daffodil Sweetie Puddlecluck came home with us in late May of this year, and were scrawny, fluffy things. It was love at first sight for my sisters and I, but not to our parents. These three would prove to be trouble with a capital T. Daffodil, so nicknamed Daffy was mine, and a tiny Gold Buff Orpington. Dandelion, aka Dandy, was the biggest, and also a Buff. Panda was a Delaware, and the biggest trouble maker. Daffy was the cutest, and most cuddly. Unfortunately, Daffy passed by June, and the other two are fine, fat, and healthy. Last month, we added my new favorite, Clover Clarissa Puddlecluck, who hs since gotten out of the fence twice, and all three almost got eaten by a hawk twice in the past two weeks! I love my funny hens, and here are some introductory pictures and background.:D

Clover...
The baby, and resident favorite😊 Shhhh! Don't tell the other two!

They are going to meet fog today, we shall see how it goes...
At least it will be harder for the hawk to get them! ;)
Its always fun to watch them meet weather for the first time. Rain has them in panic mode running everywhere, snow has them in sheer terror and thunder nearly gives them heart attacks. :D They eventually grow out of it. Enjoy their youth, they are so fun at this age!

Halloween costume contest day.

Clover hated being a model, but Dandy loved it! Despite being a little bewildered as to why she was suddenly in a wedding veil and skirt! :gig
