We processed 4 more this morning. I sold 2 for $16 or $2.00 a pound, they were between 4 to 5 pounds - does that sound right? We will do 4 more tomorrow morning. We had one for dinner tonight. It was so good. I let it rest in the fridge for 24 hours, I think it made a big difference. Should I weight each bird for selling them?

i'm impressed. i think hubby & i are going to try our first hand at meaties in the fall. if all goes well, we'll do it again in spring.

Not that anyone cares but we had a bad storm roll through here this morning. We got punded by hail and 3 inches of rain in just a short time.
