my cornish x's from ideal

Well it looks like I made my first big mistake with my cornish by putting them on the chick starter, I guess I should have just given them turkey food from the get-go.

Now that I'm doing that will they jump up in weigh fast or will I have to wait past 8 weeks to prosess them?

In the future can I just use Turkey feed for my meat birds since other than that all I have acsess to is chick starter and layer feed?


I also think I'm just going to leave them with food and water overnight for the next week or so to try and let them catch up a little.
