Well, it's a whole week and I feel like I've had an easy time so far. They aren't stinky (yet) and are mostly quiet except electronic peeper, he is a little loud and piercing when he goes on a tirade lol
Today i changed their litter from towells to wood chips, and I changed their waterer into a rabbit bottle. I know they don't like change and so I put the ususal stuff in the place it used to be, and it amazes me how quickly they adapt!
The size difference in a week between these two pics..
Day old, SAME DIME!

These are the Mensa student quail..did not mind the changes and adapting nicely..eating away as soon as I put them pack in their fresh clean pen

You got me curious... From their website:
"The word "Mensa" means "table" in Latin. The name stands for a round-table society, where race, color, creed, national origin, age, politics, educational or social background are irrelevant."

I meant it as a jibe against the "superior members of Mensa" y'know, those people who are haughty and stuck up because Mensa selected them to be in their club of superior intelligence. Footnote: my mother in law was adamantly informing me of her superior intelligence and that Mensa asked her to be in the club. When I asked her what Mensa was she rolled her eyes.. However her "superior intelligence" hasn't brought her happiness, she's on her fourth marriage!! She's also the one who told me with a heavy southern drawl, "There's somethin' special bout' kissin yer cousin," WAT. Seriously? southerners..
