ok, i decided to do the responsible thing and search before just blurting out my questions and apparently there's nothing wrong with my birds. last night i got my first light blue egg and one that looked purplish.....i was more concerned with the one that was OBVIOUSLY different. then again this morning i got another light blue one. i'm assuming from previous posts that it does happen and is nothing to worry about, but can anyone explain what causes this? is there any reason i wouldn't want to incubate these oddities?

It's fine, just sometimes the pigment doesn't come out as usual. Sort of like using a wagner sprayer, it can appily unevenly.

I have been getting a few that are light blue with the brown spots , kind of cool looking ... I had an uncle that claimed to have seen a pink elephant one time . I guess any thing is possible
