Hello! Such a wonderful place for informatoin about raising birds.
Last month I bought three quails, 1 male and two hens. The male has already started mating with them but they are not laying yet. They have light for 14 hours a day and I give them crushed eggshells every day in addition to their own food. I dont know what the problem is.

Greetings from Kansas, seviper, and [IMG]! Great to have you in or flock! I second the advice of CTKen - the quail forum folks should be able to help you out. Best wishes, thanks for joining BYC, and good luck to you and your quail! [IMG]

G’Day from down under seviper [IMG] Welcome!

As you have already received a link to the Quail Forum, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
