Recently i lost my favorite parakeet that ive ever had, he was a parakeet with leg problems that we didnt understand . He was recently killed by an opposum. I cannot tell you how heartbroken i was when i found out. I didnt even know opposums killed birds. The opposum learned how to even get in the cage, it opened the front gate and entered. That parakeet was my life , i got so attached to it that even one day when my mom took him out of the cage and brought him to me, she layed him down next to my shoulder and when she tried to try take him back 5 minutes later he growled at her and tried biting her gently. I hope he didnt have to suffer much. Even though he didnt have the same life as other birds, he was still able to have a enjoy his life . I will forever hold him in my memories and pray for him
