My bantam flock.."Chicks in Black"....sort of.....❤️

The 2 black colour feather are Agent K, who is a Pekin. Agent J, who is a Japanese bantam.

Motted feather is Agent L, who is a Japanese bantam

Before I weighed my Agent L, I thought she weighed about 200gm.

How old is the Japanese bantam?
My motted J bantam - Agent L is almost 6 months old, she is yet to lay egg, we are in autumn over here so she might not lay any until after winter. I am in Australia.

My agent J, the black feather J bantam is a year old. J was mother hen to L, the 6 months old one. I got her as a 2 days old chick from the breeder.

I noticed your Serama has more comb than my J bantam.

If she is 6 months old, then she is the same size as a d'Anvers bantam of the same age.

They have 3 empty nestboxes, but they one the one that the broody hen is sitting in so my Pekin is sitting ontop of the broody Japanese bantam to lay her egg.....
Here is my Motted Japanese bantam Agent L, she jumped on the washing machine thinking there is food. I can not stop myself from kissing her. She is so cute.
