Focus on the wonderful memories and the gifts of love he gave and received. My grandfather died of lung cancer, and one month later my other grandfather. I can't even imagine the loss of a parent.

Try to focus on the beauty and gift of the time you had and the love you shared.

and at least you were able to share the last few days of his life with him, and his pain is no more.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Time will make the pain easier, will always be there. Just enjoy time with your other love ones.

I lost my Older brother and Mother, both to Cancer. Just the last few years.

Now battle with Cancer myself, been taken chemo last 5 months.
Just the pain from lossing love ones, hurt so much more than pain from cancer.

I am sorry for your loss. I lost my father last year and as difficult as it was it was his time. The amazing thing is that the more I think about him the less he feels gone. By keeping him in my thoughts it is in some small way like he is still in my life. I pray the loss will become easier for you as well.
