My darling girl Trixie is sick! help please?

no poo yet. maybe since she ate a little she might produce some of that wonderful stuff that she's usually so prolific at producing?

also, the entire flock was treated with Sulmet about three months ago

If she hasn't been eating, it might take awhile for the poo.

Have her eggshells been nice and hard? Or a bit weak?

no all my pullets that are laying (I have her and three EE's) their shells have been really hard. I only have gotten one "jelly egg" and that was several weeks ago. THAT was weird!

She might be a little egg bound. Have you felt her abdomen and around her vent for an egg?

I felt her abdomen a while ago and felt nothing and just now felt again and around her vent. I don't really even know what I am feeling for, I'm assuming something shaped like an egg but all I feel are her bones and soft tummy. although when I pressed under the vent, she squeaked and struggled like it hurt her. I'm so concerned for her! She is one of my favorites! She is one of two that jumps up in my lap!

You could give her a warm sitz/belly bath. It will make her feel better, and relaxes her so anything that's in there moves down a bit. Also, have you seen any broken shells in the last few days?

no broken shells. I was just reading up on the warm bath and am on my way to do that for her right now. thank you so much for all your help!
