For some reason I'm having a hard time getting past that lol. I would feel bad for eating her eggs. Is that weird?

I'll be on protein overload next year i doubt ill hatch any. Unless i have to cull(my culling is no kill) some this fall.

I've been wondering for a while now, but didn't want to look stupid for asking, what is culling?

Its like weeding out what isnt good to keep for reproducing. Grow them out and compare their looks to what the breed stardard is and/or what you want for breeding and either sell the ones you dont want or eat them.

No your not weird for not wanting to eat your gooses eggs, quite a few feel that way. I wasn't sure how I feel about it either but I had to try one and liked it so we have eaten quite a few. Their more like a giant chicken egg

If you like deviled eggs they make huge ones. I could never get enough regular deviled chicken eggs but goose eggs make a king sized deviled egg....now im drooling and wishing mine were still laying.
