Wow! That is a true gem of a horse you have found, a 17.1 hand 5 year old (who will probably grow more, in that case!) that is sweet enough for your 4 year old to ride! That horse is a keeper!

How nice! She looks so very proud and she should be. My daughters first pony was a black & white paint. She is now 23 and still takes two lessons a week, had to semi-retire during college but she can never be without it. Horses are a wonderful thing, it brought us very close and the memories are forever.
This is only the beginning!

P.S. I always taught my daughter that it was nice to collect all the different colors and it was the fun and the ride that were important. In Eventing there were never any prizes and just ribbons. She too started at 5. I love Curleys name but it usually goes with a pony and not a 17.1 hand giant. He is soooo cute.

You must be so proud of your daughter! I don't think I've ever seen a 17.1h paint before

He is definatly a tall boy, but just so nice. his name is Curley. Long story on the name, but we call him Curley.

Here are some pics that really show his height..and yes I am sooo proud of her!!
She did walk, walk/jog and walk over poles.

TOO precious! Just look at that itty bitty saddle...

Your daughter and the horse are just too cute for words! Congrats! I hope that my son just at least enjoys being around our horses, if he wants to show that would just be icing on the cake!

Looks like she had a great time....has she already found the perfect place to hang those hard-earned ribbons??
