Hahah you guys dont miss much. Yes I love archery and this year going to try and bag all my game with my bow. Last year I shot all my deer with bow except a farm tag deer with my 30/30. And the thunderbolts are for pest control/trapping.

Same here. I live on undeveloped land. I built here 2 years ago & the critters think the house should belong to them so I sometimes even use the 22 for inside the house. The small holes heal up well & are never seen. I have pest in the front yard from deer to gnats & every size in between.

In my comical mind I picture you sitting at a table with your 22 aiming at a fly on the wall

I would say you don't want to be a fly on the wall at my house then.
Last year some rats came up the creek & got in some of the houses around here including mine & I hate rats so I shot them. I still have mice that keep coming in & some are hard to trap so I shoot them when I get a chance. So far I only have need for a 22 pistol in the house. For me to have to use the 45cal. the critter would have to have a gun himself. The 22 rifle is for the critters outside around the coop or garden.
i spent a lot of time in and around kettle creek. i was born and raised in coudersport, not too far away. nice looking quail eggs. good luck with the hatch.
