The run next to the coop is 8x8 and they are also using the space underneath the coop too which is also 8x8. Their bigger run is almost finished and that's 32x38 and the top is covered with welded wiring.

I honestly don't know how much I spent on it. I lost count after the 3rd trip to HD. I must of went there like zillion of times. But if I had to build another one just like it, it should cost me less than the first one. I'm going to put foam insulation in fall because their walls are thin. I think that would cost me more then any materials I got so far.

Absolutely Awesome Coop! You did great. Your chickens are going to be happy in their quality digs.

Don't forget to cover the foam with some sort of hard surface, maybe just masonite. Chickens will peck away at the foam and may eat it.

Awesome!! You did a fabulous job! You might hire yourself out as a coop builder -- and tell clients from experience that you'll be more efficient and accurate than the other locals!
