Not quite up to par Saturday but had to drive up to my house in the desert to feed my Goats and horse. I feed a bale at a time and ours are 125 lbs on average. Then Sunday I had an Animal Husbandry class for goats and sheep sitting out in the cold. Dont beat yourself up for mistakes.... just make notes and move on every one starts somewhere. Safe is more important than pretty for sure.... Got to go take more Cough syrrup.....

Oh hon, I curtainly hope you feel better real soon."Animal Husbandry class"

cute. I wish I had horses, goats, sheeps, the whole nine yards
big_smile.png
. Dealing with sickness I could handle, but dealing with mom who wants to be sick thru out my life time, now that I can't
roll.png
!!! Just this morning (it's normal for us) she says "there is something wrong with my brain"
barnie.gif
. She thinks she has tumor in her brain. Trust me, she doesn't ! She's gone every exam and thru many many doctors and nothing
hu.gif
.

This morning she stays "if I continue in this paste, I will not be finish till next winter". Well excuuuussse me for correcting my mistakes and trying to make it durable
rant.gif
. And the fact that I cough my way out and inside !!! The nerve of her
somad.gif
. She's here with me for the next 7 days, I gotta finish this quick !

Perchie Girl, hope you feel better hon.

Still sickish.... but getting better. My moms a hypochondriac too. put me over the edge the other way. Shes sneeky in her sabotage.... that whole passive aggressive thing. Thats why I strived to be more like my dad.... I try not to sweat the small stuff. Works in theory....LOL.

My own chicken coop project hinges on me getting my Goats moved to jon the horse for company. So I am going to be doing more trips up to my house over the next few days... Running wire and Hotwire (goat containment) in the big corral 75 x 100 feet. That will free up my back yard for a good cleaning and deconstruction of all the kennel panels. The goats have destroyed about four of my twelve footers and an equal amount of my six footers. So I have to strip the chainlink off those. (I have better material to cover those for the coop.) I have no help as well.... except for a truculent 20 year old Urban Son Unit....

Hes a good boy just doesnt like to get dirty. His job is college right now.

So Here I am 55 walking with a Cane cant climb a ladder cant breathe too well all my projects have ever been designed for one person to do the work. I work I rest I complete things in small steps. It gets done I dont care how long it takes. You hang in there it will get done.

. I envy your enthusiasm, courage and ambition. I wish time wasn't the essence for me. I have 2 boys, now 3 and 8 yr old. House work, homework time and the whole 9 yards of being a typical house wife. Some days, I run like a headless chicken. My mom is here until next week and being sick and alone isn't a good combination but I'm not complaining. Now that my mom is sick as well, I went out to get what I need and had to stay inside of the house for the rest of the day taking care of her and little ones. But my mind is still at the coop and run

The worst case senario is when my mom leaves to go to my brothers, I will continue building when my little son is asleep, and that's usually 2 hours the most. Once I have a good plan, I'll be rolling. Won't matter if the weather is cold or wet.

I wish you feel better real soon and wishing you good luck. Keep us posted too on what you do.

I always work on one side and I on our side of the Department of Health projects. Yes, I have to admit that his power tools better than me - but I can cry with his hammer butt any day of the week, I am one, teach him how to read tape measure!
