Today, I managed do to the 8x8 platform of the coop and put 10 inch caster tires in and able to stain it too. My niece came by and we carried it to the backyard's small hill and both lay down on it and down the hill we went
With both of us, I would say atlease weigh more then 300 lbs and the wheeled platform was still good as new
. Tomorrow, I will do the wall framing and possibly put up the walls, then the roof and door, nest boxes and etc. I understand the skid process but I thought long and hard and took countless walks to the path the coop will be going. There is a lot of crab grass here and there that can have a lot of bumps along the way. With skid, after 2ft, I'll be stuck
. I thought 10 inch caster wheels will be the best choice. Let's see with walls, how it would carry itself. I was soooo tired at the end of the day and forgot the digital camera inside of the house, so tomorrow I'll post some new pic's.
P.S, when hubby came home today, my niece and I were laying down on the wheeled platform. He saw us and said "what the ? what are you girls doing ? LOL
