Remember how long I looked for bronze turkey eggs?
Look what is in my brooder this morning -
12 embdens, 18 turkeys, 2 appleyards and 8 guineas
Don't worry, we are cleaning brooders and this was a good way to get 1 shot of them all together. They will be in their own brooders in a little while.
One little turkey has some leg issues but I am hoping I can pull him through it.
Who says you can't hatch anything you want?
As long as you are determined and learn about what you want to hatch the sky is the limit if the stock is good quality!

I have some more eggs coming in the mail today. I am hoping for a better hatch rate (50% or more) than I had this first time hatching (9.3%). I did the math and found that each chick I did get is worth $7! Hopefully I will be showing off some new chicken, guinea, and pheasant babies next month. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.
