My Disney Flock 🤷‍🤷‍

So, I believe I have mentioned before how I got into the chicken world when the Covid19 quarantine started as something to do. Soon my daughter (soon to be 6) started showing lots of interest in the chickens and the next thing I know we are naming the whole flock after Disney characters. Here is a photo with the names of the current members of my flock.

Note: The reason there is 4 names in one of the squares with the black hen (Mulan) is because she has 3 chicks

Adorable chicks! Thanks for sharing. While I am not a "Disney person" myself, I really like how there is a theme. My chickens are named, quite simply, for their breeds. Hopefully your chicks turn out to be the correct gender for their character names!

the only ones that we still unsure about sex is the 3 baby silkies, 1 white sultan, and the 3 chicks with the black hen. But I believe my daughter has a list of backup names just in case.

Thank you. We stepped in much more slowly. In 7 years we have gone from 2 to 8. We have had some tough losses, Maleficent among them. But we wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

I have to agree with it being a great experience, I was telling a family friend that owning chickens has been the therapy that I never knew I needed. I've done so many types of therapy and nothing ever worked but owning chickens and just watching their behavior i find extremely relaxing.
