My dog had puppies

I have a Great Pyrenees, that as we know is full blooded. We got him a mate and they had puppies, both male and female are white, but she had brown puppies. So I’m confused on what happened. Please help!

One of your dogs is a most likely a mixed breed. Also, GP are born with “badger” markings. This is an extreme case of that but the pups will probably lighten up.

Here is an example of the markings I was talking about. The skin will always be the same color but the dark fur will be mostly covered. But again, I don’t think your dogs are purebred. Also, unless you have homes for these pups, please don’t let the parents breed again. There are enough of these dogs in world. Only health-tested, pedigreed, and useful dogs need to be bred. Good looking pups!

They will lighten up , I’d contact your dogs girlfriends breeder, I’m thinking someone’s not a purebred

The adult female in the picture isn't Great Pyrenees. She's really grey

Congrats! My dog had puppies on the 7th. We were lucky, we got mostly red boys (what we had been hoping for). I’m thinking one of your dogs is probably a mix.

Our Lhasa Apsos also had puppies to three weeks ago!
