I keep hearing stories of people who have chicken dogs and I have tried for years to get my dogs to at least behave around the chickens and I finally have one but the goat hates her. I am jealous of all your dogs. We have so many coyote's here and I am not sure how long before they figure out she doesn't have teeth, although she gives it her best.

I cant let my dog run loose because the goat would terrorize her.

My dog loves chickens. Unfortunately, he thinks there food.

So he gets to stay in the backyard and the chickens get free run of the rest of the yard.

If'n you cant play nice with the chickies, you cant come out.

I have a Welsh Corgi who likes my chickens. I leave her outside with them regularly and she will chase off anything that is unusual. Of course, the bantams constantly think the sky is falling so they are on high alert always.
