WHAT!??? How did you do that?? My German Shepherd kills my chickens at any chance he gets!! How did you go about teaching yours not to chase and kill them? It's amazing that you were able to accomplish that!

When Rio (my shepherd) was a puppy I had ducks so he learned from a young age that the birds were off limits. I also have two parrots that he doesn’t bat an eye at either. My Doberman/german shepherd mix is also great with birds as long as they’re adult sized, he thinks babies are nuggets to be eaten. He hasn’t eaten any thank goodness but I feel like unsupervised he might!
