Here is my donkey, Lucas. We took Lucas in when one of the April 27 tornadoes, an F4 in his case, hit his pasture and barn. It took out all the trees (hundreds) & his fence in his pasture. His previous owners believed he had gone to donkey heaven. Several days later, he showed up. Lucas didn't have a home anymore & I took him.He does not bother my birds one iota, but I have had to now separate him from my cows. Every once in awhile he goes crazy and attacks my bull so now he gets to see them across the fence (and has his own pasture). He is great about keeping coyotes & dogs away. He tolerates our dogs but just doesn't let them get too cozy with him (i.e. he won't chase them or try and kill them) but a strange dog, he goes after. Between my dogs and the donkey, the predators stay away. I've lost a couple of Guineas to the road and a couple to predators but they were roamimg off my property in the deep woods when they got taken. Anyway, here is Lucas, the F4 survivor:
