My Double Coop w/ wire bottom

I made one big coop and divided it in the middle. I put a door on each end for the chickens and a double door on the back. The bottom is made of wire so there is vertually no cleaning.

I had a similar set up once. You've probably thought of this already......it was too drafty in there because of my wire floor, so I simply stacked a couple of straw bales underneath. Thanks for sharing! Very motivational!

what size is the wire mesh for the coop floor?

so its probably 1inch by 2inch hardwire mesh? have you had problems with mess collecting on the wire or does it all pretty much drop through?
