And I'm just here for a little moral support, and trying to learn too. I don't have any direct personal experience with bumblefoot, but I don't doubt that it will happen some day.

probably eventually, i have seen it in one hen but i just picked it off and she was fine (very minor)

i tend to be rather hands-off but i like to read up and watch all the fun surgeries and videos :oops:

so the red circles (as Rav already said) are the infection, that plug needs to be removed

after soaking and its nice and soft can you try working it from where the blue lines are, kinda like a rough massage, then pluck it out by hand

in this video at minute 7:45 you can see the woman actually pull it out ( i have no sound so cant tell you if she is giving good advice and she isnt wearing gloves-which is stupid

Should be fairly easy to soak a duck, they actually LIKE water... Nowhere near as hard as convincing a 1,000 pound horse to stand in a bucket without dumping it everywhere..
Quite right, lol.

If I was gonna soak a duck foot I think I would just stick it in my bathtub minus the Epsom salts.
