Ehhhhhh sorta I got confused near the endAlso a easy way to wrap his foot is have your boyfriend tip him on his back in a foot ball hold with his head behind his elbow laying on his lap...Hope that makes sense?....
I would if I could honestly. I just can't have my ducks at home yet I have turkeys and chickens but the ducks live at school farm for now. There are isolation pens in the chicken unit at the school farm that are pretty small and I could put down the triple screen shaving bedding for him and stuff, well I can ask my animal handling teacher about it in class today before I go out there him. He's not going to like being away from his femalesCan you bring him home in a Dog crate for a few days?????
No, but to get it healing quickly he should be in a clean area...Bring one Duck along with him to isolation...I would if I could honestly. I will try that! And I texted my teacher asking about it, she should say yes. so I would do the epsom salt soak thing in a small thing of water for 15 or so min, and then what are the exact steps I take after that? And how much salt goes in the waterSorry.....Haha....
Lay him on his back across your boyfriends lap....Have your boyfriend hold his head back under his elbow so he can't freak out...That helps to hold his wings down too...Then you can bandage his foot from the side of your boyfriend

Do you have a dog crate or something like that available that you could put inside the pen to put him in?That's gonna be difficult challenge to get him to stay putwhat do I use to bandage up his foot? And as I said I'll look for a place to isolate him it's just gonna be tough because they want my waterfowl in one big pen together since they are "messy"
Depends on the size of container...It says on the box anyways...Then put on the clear iodine...Next day do the same thing..As the infection scabs over you pick that off after each soak and apply the iodine again...Its a process...I will try that!
