It's not contagious in that aspect. But there is likely something in thier pen that is cutting thier feet. Infections happen with open sores. There is possibly a good chance more of the birds in that pen have some degree of bumble foot injuries.

Yes at least start soaking her feet as well since you have her seperated already. Check the others if a bunch of then have sores then before you start treatment you need to first address the pen. Because the cuase needs to be removed before any of then will fully heal

Okay I will let you know if and how many other have it tomorrow. And will treat her along with Aflac tomorrow. I don't have anywhere to move my big waterfowl flock so what am I supposed to do about the pen?

I'm not sure i can be much help. Im thinking by looking back at the picture you posted of the pen three gravel might be your main issue. Being at the school in not sue there is much you can do you will have to talk to your teacher. But i would think your best bet would be to start removing as much of the gravel as possible down to dirt. I don't know what an ideal flooring for ducks would look like...

We could take the gravel out maybe. The huge pen they are housed in is ours while we attend our last year so we are free to remove gravel if we wanted to. Just have to ask my boyfriend.

Yeh are I'm gonna be so mad if the geese have it because they are jerks and will NOT be easy to treat. We will look today. At least bubbles and Aflac are already isolated together. So I start treating her the same way? And how do you think aflacs feet look?
