That’s actually a very interesting idea/ concept!Just a thought, if him being heavy is going to cause this to keep cropping up, would it be possible to make him something similar to a slipper, padded, non structured footwear that he could wear at all times to help protect the feet? Not something that would get too waterlogged if he swims, but something that would help keep him from damaging his feet.
What is neoprene?Like a duck shoe they are made out of neoprene
It could also be Velcro or some other easy to fasten closure, if he had a few pairs, they could be changed every few days to keep clean, and when he does get a bumble, it would make wrapping easier, just put another layer on the bottom, or just use the "slipper" for a bandage. That’s actually a very interesting idea/ concept!Has anyone heard of anything like this or DIY’s? I mean I’ll always care for him and continue to treat my boy as much as I have to, but I’m curious if anyone else does this or has tried something like that on their birds?
Do they have duck thingys like that,I believe it is what wet suits are made of. I have a pair of Boggs boots that are neoprene on the top very water proof.
