I want another one, but if I was to order some more I would end up ordering every single polish color and variety that that hatchery was selling! I can't be trusted! We also don't have anymore room right now. Maybe if Mushy (or any of the others) or Shelly goes broody??

I thought Polish were bad mothers? Not true?

I think it depends on the chicken. They would have to be very motherly to go broody I think. Mine are nice though. They love chicks and they aren't flighty, and Mushy can see just as well as any non-crested bird, so I don't think there would be any problems with that. We thought she was wanting to go broody right before she stopped laying because she would make the feeding sound, and she also loved to sit on eggs, but she didn't. I would imagine that at least one of them should go broody though.
