My duck cant stand.

My little duck just hatched 3 days ago, it was the first time I hatched something so I've made a mistake that I had cut his umbilical cord when he just broke half of the egg and he was pretty weak and i was feeding him boiled yolk and milk, and he seems better now but he couldn't stand and keep sleeping and laying down, i think there's no problem with his legs because he kicked me hard when i held him. Please help my duck, i'm scaring.

Hi there - I would be getting niacin / b complex into him as quickly as possible. I would probably leave out the milk as well but stick with the egg. Adding some sugar / honey to the water can help with energy. It sounded like a tough hatch all round and it can take them some time to recover. You are not the first person to have done this !

Could you post a few pictures of his abdominal area?

One's with an unabsorbed yolk sac often have a troubled time keeping balanced, and will fall over repeatedly and show ataxia like behavior. If the yolk sac were to get infected by being kept on unsanitary grounds the duckling would likely worsen in condition and eventually due.

What kind of bedding is he being housed on?

Could you upload a video of him to a video platform like youtube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

The temperature here is around 86F so i think he doesnt need it.
