my duck egg

Ok so I have a duck egg and I am not 100% sure that it is alive! Does anybody know how to tell if it is alive or dead? Thank you soooo much! Please help me

Hello and Welcome To BYC! You might want to post in the Incubating & Hatching Eggs forum or the Ducks forum www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-amp-hatching-eggs and www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks You've been incubating the egg? How many days along should the egg be / when should it be due to hatch? Have you tried candling the egg?

I just put it in the incubator and let it sit for a week

Ok, i'll try it but maybe for more then a week because its already been in their for 4 days.
