My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Pics
Yes indeed! I'm up to 16! I have a couple I'm worried about, one looks all bloody in his shell and one just seems stuck.. Gotta work now.. Be back in a few hours. Oh how much of the vitamin do I use?
If he can hold his head up give him a couple of drops, WARNING: HE"S NOT GOING TO LIKE IT.. So get your rain coat ready. LOL

Watch his throat, alls you need to do is make sure he swallows, if he shakes his head that's OK, as long as he swallows afterwards, then he got some.

I ended up hatching out 19 out of 40. Two of them have curled feet. :-/ I will post some pictures soon. Got a lot going on with the kids and school this week

So some of the eggs are on day 7 right now. I noticed this afternoon that one of the eggs was upside down. I am not sure how it got that way, but now I am concerned that I just gave that poor little duck a death sentence! I noticed that the veining and development is mostly at the bottom instead of the top. Will it be able to develop properly now that I have it turned the correct way?? Or did I just ruin his chances?

On a happy note, I know they aren't ducks, but I had 2 pips in my chicken eggs this morning when I left for work! Hopefully I will have some babies when I get home!

Not to worry at day 7 they still have time to move around, you would be surprise at what they can do come hatching day No you didn't ruin him, it's still early

Thanks for the reassurance! I checked the egg again about 5 days later and it looks like the others so I guess it was able to resituate in his shell. I am on day 24 for the 1st set of ducks. I am watching for the "dip" to see if they are ready to hatch. It seems that they are a ways away from hatching because the air bubble seems small to me. Is the dip pretty noticeable? I am used to watching chickens so I am not sure if I'm just off because of the egg size difference. Also, would the ducks be able to hatch in the same incubator as the chickens are hatching in? or do they need a higher humidity in order to hatch?

I had khaki cambell hatch last night. It has lame leg. It hatched at 26 days also . Leg looks folded under body other leg has good movement.

Sorry to hear that. What are you going to do? Do you think its repairable? I have seen some splints and stuff that you might be able to make for it.
