My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Done. In the brooder in a box away from the others. How I love my ducks! And my girls who so willingly help me with my madness! My 12 year old was typing and taking pictures for me while my 10 year old called my 16 year old to stop for iodine! I love my girls! ( and they must love me to put up with me! Chickens in a brooder in the living room, ducks in the bathroom and incubators in the utility room!

 Hi, would anyone mind if I hijacked this thread?

My duckling have externally pipped 4 days early, and I'm slightly panicking! 1 has hit a vein, and another has pipped the wrong end and the membrane is yellow. They weren't even due to go into lockdown until tomorrow! This is my first duckling hatch and I must admit to being very nervous now! Any advice is much needed and very welcome!

No problem! I feel ya Dawn! My first hatch started early on Thursday morning (day one of lock down) four babies hatched, still a dozen in there that haven't pipped.. These guys have been great!

I didn't see any pips when I turned them this afternoon (I'm in the U.K., and it's 11.55pm here now), but there again, I wasn't looking with due date being 4 days away. 

What's the weather like there??

I did, and he/she is sectioned off from the others in the brooder. Waiting for my daughter to get home and I'll dab on the iodine. Boy stained fingers here I come!
