My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Just thought I'd let you guys know I lost another little one today The vet said his crop was full of mucus and food (even though he wasn't eating), and that he had devoloped pneumonia. I feel so guilty. The other 4 are thriving, I really don't know what I did wrong. He was the smallest and the last one to hatch. R.I.P little Colin

I don't know about the room temp. It's gotta be probably between 75-80

Well I heard peeping this morning. So I'm taking that as a good sign. The 28th is actually "day 28" I haven't had any external pips yet.

I have another question, what's the difference between a still air and a circulated air incubator?
Reason being, I was considering buying a still air one to use for lock down days.... Thoughts?

still doesn't have a fan in it, Air does, the temps will be different. Still temps need to be around 101-102 with air should be about 99-100

I think that's a GREAT idea exspecially if you have eggs with different due dates. If you don't then why spend the money??
