Need help! My eggs hit 28 days yesterday in incubator and I discovered it shows 37.5 C on incubator but when I checked with other thermometer shows 93 F. None of the eggs are pipping! I had candled eggs earlier and they were all viable. Was the temperature too low for hatch?

Nope, the temps not to low. The hatch may be longer. Who knows why a hatch doesn't hatch right on time. Mother nature does what she wants to do. Incubators are OK but can never match mama. For example, I have quail eggs in my incubator. The temp and humidity is right on. Hatch time supposed to be 16 to 18 days. Today is 25 days and they just started hatching last night. Got up this morning and there they were. Be patient, it is what it is.

I wish I could use momma, but she is not broody and just leaves the eggs in nest and forgets them. Thanks for the info!

also it depends on what type of duck eggs.. if its Muscovy they are up to 35 days... the mallard types are 28
