Hello! Here you have a picture of Sr Pato, who is already a teenager, yesterday I heard him squawk for the first time (while I was behind him) and for a week he opens his wings and moves them very fast while running, trying to fly
(although to my surprise yesterday I saw him fly for the first time).
Well, the case is that since yesterday he flees from me, runs away and even flies and squawks and I don't understand why.
Is it because of adolescence? Just yesterday he also shed five feathers (and his feathers are new).

By the way, I treat him as a drake, but I really don't know if he is, if someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it!

It sounds like you are doing something he doesn't like. My ducks would do that too if I did something scary and predator like.

My adult ducks don't like it if I walk directly toward them, or walk too quickly, or startle them. They also don't like me to reach out and grab them, but prefer me to squat down and call them to me.

He might be more calm if you change the way you move.

It's weird, because I always went to look for him or behind him and he never did that, I guess he'll be feeling weird about his changes, I'll go more quietly haha. Thank you!

Maybe he hates bow ties! Just kidding he’s super cute!

The above suggestions are great. Also don’t change your appearance.
I can wear a cap, but a hood on my head makes them think I’m a murderer.

But he is used to seeing me dressed in all ways, I guess it will be changing and sometimes he behaves weird haha.
Do you think he is a drake?

What breed is it? Muscovy or another? Does it "quack-quack" loudly or kinda whisper "raspy-squeak-wack"? Ducks do the LOUD quack, and drakes can't "quack-quack" per se. Pick it up and see what sound it makes, record it.

I always sexed mine by the curled tail feather when I still had ducks. I think I MIGHT be seeing the beginning of a tail curl... curled tail means male. Better tail pics might help. I never did learn to sex them by voice, because the differences always seemed fairly obvious to me at a reasonably young age.

Ducks are suspicious critters, though. Hard to say what is setting him off all of a sudden!

They told me he was a muscovy, that's why I'm surprised when he runs and he's "scared", because the muscovy are supposedly "dumb", Here I leave you a video of when he ran away from me, normally he only whistles, only squawks when he runs away from me hahaha
