My duck flees from me

One thing with drakes in particular and my hand raised Muscovy is that when they get around 4 months hormones begin to surge and their personality can change over night. They will go from that sweet little cuddly duck to wanting to mate with you drake biting and jumping on you. Mine did and I had him in the house from hatch because his mama rejected him. When I turned my back he would fly up on my back if I sat down he'd climb my leg and bite me. He wanted me as his female. I came here asking for help since none of my other drakes had ever acted like this and it was because I hadn't hand raised them. I had to teach Opie to respect me not to treat me as one of his females. I even was told to kill him because he was mean. I opted to teach him some manners, It wasn't over night success but he now knows I am the head of the flock and not him. I also went a got him his very own female Muscovy too. That helped some but he still wanted me to be in his harem. Today he is going on 9 yrs old and pretty much behaves around me. Oh he still has his times when he forgets and I have to remind him by holding him down on his belly when he starts acting like a hormonal drake with me. Now he is going through molt and is being very temperamental so I pretty much leave him alone unless he bites me like yesterday I had to get him down again, It's just like another drake would do to show dominance.

I understand even females can become bity and temperamental once they become sexual. I've never raised a female inside never had to.
